SAFETY INFORMATION - COVID-19
By booking a face to face appointment you are agreeing to the following COVID-19 safety and booking information. Due to the ongoing pandemic, there have been changes implemented within my counselling space to ensure a safe environment for everyone. I have had both of my vaccinations and the booster.
I’m looking forward to offering face to face support, whilst also keeping you safe.
CLIENTS

Please cancel and rearrange our session if you/people in your household or bubble have any symptoms OR you have had contact with anyone with suspected or confirmed symptoms

Change to taste & smell

Please park on the drive-way and wait in your car until I come to meet you

Please come alone (unless pre-agreed that you are accompanied)

Please arrive on time; I am staggering appointments to avoid people coming into contact with each other

Please leave coats/bags in your car

Please use the hand sanitiser and wear a mask on arrival

I will temperature check you with a contactless thermometer on arrival, if you are over 38c I will ask you to re-arrange our session

Please do an LFT within the 48hrs prior to your session and confirm a negative result to me before our session
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM ME

I am following the Government’s Safer Workplace Guidance for close contact services and guidance from my professional body the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy)

I will SMS you the day before or morning of a face to face session to check you/your household/support and/or childcare bubble are free from any symptoms

I will wear appropriate PPE to greet you and in session

To protect children during a session, I will wear a visor & gloves at all times

I will arrange seating so we can maintain a 2 metre distance

I will wash and sanitise my hands regularly

I will clean the room and furnishings in between each client and at the beginning & end of every day

I have spaced out my sessions to enable me to prepare and thoroughly disinfect the counselling space ready for my next client to arrive

For children/young people, I will have specific materials for their sole use which will be kept safely for each session
